Actions
The Actions tab lists every routine the bot performs with your keyboard — healing, fishing, using an item — states what each one currently does, and lets you replace any of them by recording yourself doing it instead.
Nothing here is Premium.
Why you would change one(link to this section)Free
Most of what the bot does is decided by reading the screen. A handful of things cannot be: nothing on screen says when the nurse has finished talking, or when a fishing animation is over. Those are timed, and the right timing depends on your latency and your region.
The symptom is always the same shape — an action that half works. Healing that walks away before the dialogue ends. A rod that casts but never reels. If you have that, this tab is the fix, and you do not need to wait for us to guess a better number.
Reading the list(link to this section)Free
Every row names an action and says, in words, what the bot does for it right now:
Heal at the Pokemon Center — Holds Interact for 6.5–11 s to mash through the nurse, depending on region and Slow Mode.
That description is the built-in behaviour. Once you record your own, the row shows what you recorded instead and gains a CUSTOM badge.
Two badges appear:
| Badge | Meaning | How to undo |
|---|---|---|
| CUSTOM | A built-in action you have replaced | USE BUILT-IN |
| YOURS | A humanize action you invented — nothing behind it | DELETE |
Recording an action(link to this section)Free
Select an action and press EDIT / RECORD.
- Press RECORD. The bot brings PokeMMO to the front.
- Perform the action yourself, in game.
- Press DONE.
Every key press is captured with the exact time you held it for, and the pauses between them become explicit Wait steps. Clicks are captured only inside the game window, so operating the bot's own interface never ends up in the recording.
Then SAVE. Until you save, the built-in keeps running.
COPY BUILT-IN is the shortcut for the common case. It fills the list with a copy of the existing behaviour so you can change one number — usually making a heal a second longer — without recording anything.
TEST plays the steps into the game once, right now, without saving. Stand where the action makes sense first; the bot focuses the game after a one-second countdown.
Why a recording survives rebinding(link to this section)Free
Steps store what a key means, not which key it was.
Recording Interact stores "Interact", not "Z". At playback the bot resolves that through PokeMMO's own control bindings, exactly as the built-in actions do. Rebind your controls afterwards and the recording still works; send it to somebody using a different layout and it works for them too.
Keys the game has no binding for are ignored while recording, because they did nothing in game and replaying them would only cost time.
Humanize actions(link to this section)Free
Two of the rows are not tasks — they are the idle habits behind Humanize Actions on the Security page:
- Humanize: pause and do nothing — stops for a moment, as though you looked away
- Humanize: look at a Pokemon — opens a party summary, sometimes its stats, then closes it
Each fires on a percentage roll, shown and editable in the editor as FIRES __% of the time.
You can also invent your own with NEW HUMANIZE. Name it, record whatever idle thing you like, set how often it should happen, and it joins the pool alongside the built-in two.
That is worth doing. The built-in habits ship with every copy of the bot, so two accounts running this option idle in exactly the same two ways at exactly the same rate — which is a pattern, not a disguise. An idle habit only yours is worth more than a better one everybody has.
One caveat on look at a Pokemon: the built-in version finds the party button and the summary tab by image, so it adapts to any window size. A recording of your own clicks uses fixed positions instead. If you resize the game afterwards, re-record it.
Undoing(link to this section)Free
Absence is the default. There is no stored "original" that can drift — a built-in action with no recording simply runs its own code, so:
- USE BUILT-IN deletes your recording for one action
- RESET ALL deletes every recording and leaves your invented humanize actions alone
- DELETE removes an invented humanize action, which is the only way to undo one
Recordings are files, one per action, under actions\ next to the loader. Invented humanize actions live in actions\humanize\. Copy them between machines freely.
