Settings
Configuration that applies to the bot itself rather than to a particular run.
Action Bar Slots(link to this section)Free
Which in-game action bar slot holds each item the bot uses: Fishing Rod, Bike, Escape Rope / Dig, Repel, Lure, Defog / Leppa / Ether, Teleport, Sweet Scent and an Anti-AFK item.
The bot cannot see which slot holds what, so this is the one thing it has to be told. Click a slot and press the key you actually use in game — it reads the answer back through PokeMMO's own control bindings, so it stays right even if you have rebound your action bar.
Every slot starts unassigned, deliberately. An unassigned action is skipped with a note in the status feed rather than pressing a number at random and using the wrong item. Until they are set, an orange SET UP ACTION BAR pill sits in the title bar on every tab; clicking it brings you here.
Saved settings(link to this section)Free
Settings are written to Settings.ini next to the loader, so a working configuration survives restarts and updates. It is plain text — send it to somebody and they get your configuration exactly.
There is one file, not a profile system. If you keep two very different setups, keep two copies of Settings.ini and swap them with the bot closed.
Primary Mouse Button(link to this section)Free
Left Click or Right Click, for left-handed users who have swapped their buttons in Windows.
If the bot seems to click without anything happening, this is worth checking — a swapped primary button means every click lands as the wrong one.
Pacing(link to this section)Free
Two timings on the Security page, under PACING:
| Setting | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Turn delay [ms] | The pause when the walk direction changes, which is also the gap between one walk cycle and the next |
| Battle check [ms] | How often the bot re-examines the screen, which bounds how quickly it notices a battle |
Lower Turn delay feels snappier; 0 makes turns instant. Lower Battle check reacts sooner but costs more CPU, since every check is an image search.
Neither affects the preconfigured routes. Those carry the timing they were recorded with, and a shorter pause would land them in the wrong place. Custom routes ignore both too — a recorded route brings its own timing, and a route that wants a pause has a Wait step for it.
Resolution(link to this section)Free
There is no resolution setting, and that is deliberate. The bot computes its regions from the live game window, so it works at any resolution, windowed or fullscreen.
Windows display scaling is a different thing and it must be 100% — see Getting Started. The loader warns you at launch if it is not.
PokeMMO Directory & GFX Files(link to this section)Free
Points the bot at your PokeMMO install and applies its graphics file adjustments.
Set the directory correctly on first run. Most "the bot cannot find the game" reports are this being wrong or pointing at an old install.
Session(link to this section)Free
A live view of what the current run has produced — counters, items and GTL Sniper activity.
Useful for deciding whether a route is worth running again, which is otherwise guesswork.
Settings File(link to this section)Free
RELOAD re-reads the settings from disk, RESET returns everything to defaults.
Reset is the right first move when a configuration has become confusing and you cannot remember what you changed. It is faster than hunting for the one checkbox causing trouble.
