Troubleshooting

The problems people actually hit, roughly in the order they hit them.

My antivirus deleted it(link to this section)

Expected, and explained in full on the download page. The bot reads another application's window and sends synthetic input — the same two behaviours a keylogger has — so heuristic scanners flag it regardless of intent.

Verify the SHA-256 from the download page against your file, then exclude the folder. If the checksum does not match, do not run it and tell us in Discord.

My key will not work(link to this section)

Check which button you used. Premium Register is for a first key; Extend Subscription is for renewing. Registering with a renewal key creates a second, empty account.

If it still fails:

• Confirm the key on your licences page shows Ready to use rather than Awaiting payment
• Paste it rather than typing it — the alphabet excludes 0, O, 1 and I, but a typo is still a typo
• A revoked or refunded key will not activate; the licences page says so plainly

It says the licence is locked to another machine(link to this section)

Licences bind to one machine on first use. You get two self-service resets from the licences page — click Reset machine, then sign in again on the new PC.

Out of resets and it is a genuine hardware change? Ask in Discord.

The bot clicks in the wrong place(link to this section)

Not a resolution problem. The bot works out the game's geometry at runtime, so there is nothing to configure and nothing to mismatch.

It may well be a scaling problem. Windows display scaling must be 100% — at 125% or 150% the game draws everything larger than the images the bot matches against, and recognition fails with no error. The loader warns at launch if it finds anything other than 100%, including a second monitor scaled differently from the first. See Getting Started.

Otherwise check:

• The game window is not covered by another window
• Primary Mouse Button matches your Windows setting
• Slow Mode — if the bot is outrunning the game, actions land before the screen has caught up
• PokeMMO Directory points at the install you are actually running
• PokeMMO's own GUI scale is 1.0 — the patcher sets it, but a manual change undoes that

A key press does nothing(link to this section)

The bot presses action bar slots for the rod, bike, repels, lures, PP items, teleport and Sweet Scent — and it starts with every one of them unassigned.

Set them on the Settings page under ACTION BAR SLOTS. Until you do, the orange SET UP ACTION BAR pill sits in the title bar, and each attempt writes a line to the status feed naming the action it could not press. That line is the fastest way to find which slot is missing.

It stopped on its own(link to this section)

In order of likelihood:

1. PP ran out. Turn on Auto Refill PP, and Auto Leppa for Sweet Scent runs.
2. A safety trigger fired. Walk Cycle Guard or Stop when PM did its job — check the log.
3. A captcha appeared and the solver is off or you are on a free account.
4. A break started. It resumes on its own.
5. Your subscription expired. The licences page will say.

It walks off the route(link to this section)

Routes start from a fixed point and do not path you to it. Stand at the start before pressing F9.

If it drifts partway through, the route needs a small edit — open it in the visual editor and correct the step that overshoots. Terrain and NPC positions change; a route recorded months ago can need a nudge.

Discord notifications stopped(link to this section)

In order:

1. Your DMs are closed. Server privacy settings that block DMs from members block the bot too.
2. You are not linked, or linked a different Discord account. Run /link again.
3. Your subscription expired — the Discord bot is Premium.
4. The bot is not running. Check the session is alive before assuming notifications are broken.

F9 and F10 do nothing(link to this section)

Another application registered them first. The bot says so at startup. Close it and restart, or use the START and STOP buttons.

Still stuck(link to this section)

Ask in Discord with:

• what you were running (Run Mode + Movement Mode + route)
• what you expected
• what happened instead
• your order reference if it is licence-related

That gets a useful answer far faster than "it doesn't work".
